in less than two months, prince george's county police have lost an officer. >> john gonzalez is live a police headquarters where investigators will give us more information later this morning. >> tragedy struck the department yet again in less than two months. two officers have died. the police chief says witnesses are telling the police department that someone may have cut off this officer that caused this collision. just miles from his home. the second officer to die in less than two month of the county. there were at the scene for several hours trying to figure out what happened here. this image of the young police officers crews are wrapped around a light pole is difficult to look at this morning and hard to copperhead. officer kevin bowden was a six year veteran just 28 years old

shootings is scheduled to be sentenced. he could be spending in the 25 years in prison. he pleaded guilty to second- degree murder for opening fire on a group of people in 2010. five died. he testified against five other suspects. they were recently sentenced to 30 years to life than the prison. closing arguments are expected today in the assault trial of two prince george's county police officers. they are charged with beating an unarmed university of maryland today. the case came to a halt yesterday over the judge. the judge was once married to an expert george's county police officer who was convicted of using excessive force in an unrelated case. the judge determined the child could go on. she said to be fair and impartial. >> 18 days away now from the election. president obama trying to reach undecided voters in virginia. he is speaking at george mason
